Major roads in the city have also been decorated with signposts and banners carrying pictures of the new Tor Tiv, whose coronation rites started last week.
Newsverge reports that plastic seats at the J.S Tarka Stadium in Gboko were wrapped in Tiv fabrics, while major roads in the township were given a facelift.
The palace of the Tor Tiv was extensively renovated with a complete landscaping of the expansive palace ground in preparation for the coronation.
Newsverge reports that Ayatse, a former Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi and first Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Dutsinma, in Katsina State, succeeds Dr Alfred Torkula, who died last year.
