Tinubu, shining star in Nigeria’s political firmament – Ajimobi

Gov. Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has described the All Progressives Congress(APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, as a role model and shining star in the nation’s political firmament.

The governor, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy, Mr Yomi Layinka, said Tinubu’s support for him was a motivating factor for the successes recorded by his administration in the last six years.

Newsverge reports that Tinubu, a former senator and Lagos State governor, clocked 65 on Wednesday, March 29.

“Asiwaju is a detribalised Nigerian who has traversed the length and breadth of Nigeria.

“He has kept recruiting people of like minds in seeking the emancipation of the country and the entrenchment of an egalitarian society.

“His undying love for the downtrodden, the deprived and the ordinary folks across Nigeria is widely acknowledged.

“His unflinching support for the President Muhammadu Buhari administration has helped tremendously in the fulfilment of its electioneering promises to Nigerians,’’ he said.

Ajimobi prayed God to strengthen Tinubu in his continuous efforts at building a better country.
