Deesaviva Empire: Damilola Oladeinde takes bold steps into fashion and beauty business
Government cannot do it all when it comes to creation of jobs for the ever growing population of job seekers and most especially fresh graduates.
Bearing this in mind, and with a burning desire of turning her hobby cum passion into a creative venture to reduce the number of youths roaming on the street in search of a meaningful means of livelihood, Damilola Oladeinde, a graduate of Psychology from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta is miles ahead of her contemporaries when it comes to being focused and having the ‘can do spirit’. A chance meeting with the radiant young lady will leave no one in doubt that she sure knows her onions.
Having horned her skills and polished the rough edges, Damilola took the bold step to become an entrepreneur by setting up an ultra- modern boutique and salon in the Baale Animashaun, Road, Onado Filling Station, Dalemo, Alakuko area of Lagos where she deals in make-up artistry and training, bridal makeover, Gele tying, general makeover, sales of make-up products, bag and shoes, human hair of all kinds to mention a few
The hardworking skillful boss of Deesaviva Empire admits she admires and sees a mentor in Tara. Damilola’s willpower is infectious and highly motivating, as young as she is.
Deesaviva Empire caters for the fashion needs of both ladies and men with an array of choice labels in hair, skin and fashion accessories.
The intelligent resourceful ebony skin lady with a warm welcoming smile for all is not done with schooling yet, as she is looking forward to obtaining her PHD degree in Child Psychology with the aim of becoming a lecturer and further spreading her tentacles to reach as many people as possible. When she is making people beautiful, she is busy capturing and creating life long memories for people by way of photography. Damilola’s talent, skills and aspiration are something to tap into. The faith conscious only child of a dynamic woman is a member of the chorister at one of the parishes of Celestial Church of Christ.
Deesaviva aside stocking high street labels in shoes, bags, perfumes and other skin and hair products has a training arm to groom interested students be it male or female in the art of make-up. The make-up school which is already in session has a very conducive learning environment just like the unisex salon where courtesy meets service as all her staff has keyed into the vision of the young CEO with the ‘nothing is unachievable spirit.’
On the long run, Damilola who firmly believes in taking a step at a time foresee a future where Deesaviva Empire will become a brand and have its own line of beauty and cosmetic product range and a fashion line for ready to wear couture which includes bridal wear.
Damilola who taps her strength from her loving and supportive mother has a policy that forbids her from turning people down.
