Banky W releases ‘Kololo’ lyric video
R&B crooner Olubankole Wellington also known as Banky W, has released the lyric video of his song titled: ‘Kololo’ on YouTube.
Banky, who made this known on Tuesday on his twitter handle, @BankyW, promised to also drop the official video next week.
“Vibes for the summer…Kololo lyric video now on YouTube. Official video drops soon,’’ he wrote.
According to him, the video was inspired by the city of Dubai. The artiste is also offering 10 Nigerians the opportunity to win a trip for 2 to Dubai with the release of the official video.
In the You Tube post, Banky W also uploaded the lyrics of Kololo, which he says is a derivative of the word “Kolo”, a Nigerian slang for Crazy.
“And so Kololo means… REALLY crazy,” he said.
The ‘Empire Mates Entertainment’ (EME) boss with about 1.4 million followers on his Instagram page recently had a fire accident at his residence which destroyed part of his living room.
Banky who recently played a lead character in the movie “The Wedding Party” in 2016, has released several albums.
Some of the albums include ‘Undeniable’ (EP) in 2003, ‘Back in the Building’ in 2005 and Mr Capable in 2008.
The EME boss had also collaborated with other notable Nigerian artistes such as Skales, Sarkodie, Sasha P, Mode 9, MI and Wizkid.
