Nigeria’s Echiejile sign one-year deal with Sivasspor

Elderson Echiejile has signed a one-year contract with Sivasspor, the Super Lig club have announced.
The Super Eagles defender failed to secure regular action at AS Monaco – starting 33 matches across three seasons.
Aside from that, he was loaned to Standard Liege and Sporting Gijon in a bid to ensure he gets regular playing time.
And after passing his medical on Friday afternoon, the 29-year-old was signed for just 12 months.
”Our club signed a one-year contract with the Nigerian left-hander, Elderson Echiejile, to be effective as of 2017/18 season,” the club wrote on their website.
Echiejile becomes the Samet Aybaba’s third signing after Hakan Bilgic and Arouna Kone.
