Alleged murder: Court fixes March 29 to rule on order compelling police to release report

The National Industrial Court, Abuja, will on Oct.5 deliver judgment in a case of an alleged termination of appointment, instituted by one Shaibu Idris, against Jardin Development and Associates Nigeria Ltd.

The judge, Justice Edith Agbakoba, fixed the date on Monday after counsel to the parties adopted their final written addresses.

Idris, who worked as a heavy duty mechanic for the company, is challenging the termination of his appointment in 2009 and the non- payment of his benefits for eight years.

The claimant is asking the court to order the company to compensate him adequately for the alleged wrongful termination of his appointment.

Idris prayed the court to order the respondent to pay him damages for the injury he allegedly sustained while working for the company.

The claimant also prayed the court to award him damages for the trauma he went through after he was sacked.

The claimant was represented by Mr Bright Enado, while the respondent (Jardin Development), was represented by Miss Nnenko Ntialdem.
