A political group, Aminu Masari Restoration Awareness Forum, says measures taken by the Katsina State Government has restored sanity and accountability in the state public service.

Malam Sani Salele, Daura Zone Coordinator of the forum, said problems of truancy and laxity recorded in the past have been addressed.

According to him, Gov Aminu Masari administration has restored dignity, probity, confidence and accountability in the service through various incentives introduced in the past two years.

“Now there is the feeling of job security among the civil servants and freedom of expression as the government is amenable to promoting democratic ideals,” Salele said in an interview with our reporter in Daura on Wednesday.

The coordinator stressed that the administration had also taken steps to enhance security by addressing the problems of cattle rustling in parts of the state.

Salele added that the administration was renovating and upgrading General Hospitals in Daura, Kankia, Funtua and Katsina, as well as 300 schools across the 34 local government areas of the state.

He urged the people to render maximum support to government for it to discharge its responsibilities more effectively.

It was also reported that the forum, which was inaugurated recently, has Sabo Salele as Coordinator, Lawal Adamu, Secretary, Aliyu Daura, Public Relations Officer, Suraja Gachi, Youth Leader and Suraja Abdulkarim, Twitter Coordinator.

Other officials of the forum are, Nura Sani, Organising Secretary, Abdullahi Lawal, Administrative Secretary, Fatima Halliru, Woman Leader and Dalhatu Sani, Facebook monitor.
