Infinity Security denies link with police shooting
The management of Infinity Security Services Limited has dismissed reports linking the firm to the reported reckless shooting in Lagos by policemen attached to a popular Nigerian musician on July 5. The report had quoted a police chief as identifying the erring policemen as members of 20 Police Mobile Squadron on attachment to Infinity Security Company.
“Though we offer similar services, we have no security contract with the said musician and are not in anyway connected with the incident,” said the firm’s Managing Director, Tajudeen Aderemi, in a statement on Monday.
Aderemi noted that his firm however maintains a cordial working relationship with the police and all other government security agencies, while its operatives exhibit best practices in compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
