The Hauk foundation has empowered over 80 women in different skills ranging from baking, sewing, make up, small chops and pastries, child minding, ICT, personal development and leadership.
The president of Hauk Foundation, Mrs Hauwa Rebecca Sodeinde, harped on the purpose for which the programme was established, pointing out that women should strive to empower themselves so as to be able to support their spouses.
She advised the single women to strive for new knowledge until they reach a point where they are certain of what they want to make out of life. Funmilola Obebe, another member of hauk foundation spoke of the need of women also being providers for the sake of their children.
