JUST IN: Police, DSS occupy Saraki, Ekweremadu residences

Reports reaching NEWSVERGE confirmed that security operatives have reportedly laid siege on the homes of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki and his Deputy, Mr. Ike Ekweremadu in Abuja.

The Senate President was on his way to report at the Police Headquarters when his convoy was allegedly blocked by the Police.

Saraki was to appear before the police today for further investigation into alleged killings in Kwara state.

An aide to Ekweremandu, confirmed to DailySun that the Senator might be arrested and detained by the security agencies.

The reported siege on Ekweremadu’s Apo residence was also alleged by the spokesperson for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, in a tweet on Tuesday morning, July 24.
