Ciara releases new single with Nigerian Singer Tekno

American Singer, Princess Harris known as Ciara has teamed up with Nigerian musician Tekno Miles to release a new single ‘Freak Me’.

Tekno took to his Instagram handle @teknoofficial on Friday to announce the song’s release and shared the cover art.

He wrote: “That nu (new) fire. Ciara X Teknoofficial. #Freakme out everywhere.”

Ciara, whose latest single `Level up’ has been topping worldwide charts, is an American singer, dancer, model and actress.

Since making her musical debut in 2004, Ciara has attained eight Billboard Hot 100 top-ten singles, including a number one.

She has also earned numerous awards and accolades, including three BET Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, three MOBO Awards, and one Grammy Award.

To date, Ciara has sold more than 23 million records worldwide.

Ciara had on Wednesday hinted on the collaboration with Tekno when she announced the release on her Instagram handle @ciara.

She posted a picture of herself and backups all dressed in African prints with the caption, “#FreakMe Ft @TeknoOfficial out this Friday! Been dying to share this with you! Can’t wait! #AfroBeats #AfroWave#FreakMeFriday.”

Tekno has achieved widely acclaimed success since he broke into the music industry in 2013 with ‘Duro’, for which he signed a recording contract with Made Men Music Group (MMMG).

‘Duro’ topped several national and international charts, earning Tekno the ‘Best Pop Extra video’ award at the 9th Nigeria Music Video Awards in 2015.

In 2016, Tekno won the best New act at the MTV Africa Music Award and was nominated for the Best International Act Africa at the BET Awards.
