Dapo Abiodun: A Quintessential Technocrat in Ogun Politics
As an elite who sincerely loves his State and the good people of the State, I have always believed in the quest to getting the “best remedy to malady” in my State; Ogun State. Whenever I feel there is an illness in any part of the State’s wellbeing, be it economically, socially or politically. You will agree with me that the issue ruminating in the State presently is who becomes the next Governor come 2019.
After careful and cursory analysis of who is capable and competent enough to taking charge of the Oke-Mosan job after the legal exit of the incumbent, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has always been my sleepless night assignment. I have seen a lot of players grooming on the field but I could only find few who are serious however not match for the biggest job in the State. Until recently, I discovered a new star player among the grooming players.
This one is serious and fit. No doubt, as far as Ogun 2019 is concerned, we have got gubernatorial aspirants of different qualifications and qualities. We have some who are serious, some who are not serious but who have only come to make awareness. But whatever the case may be, I think as selective as we may be in the area of choosing the leadership, I advise we should be very careful and mindful of the personalities we allow to taking charge of the State treasury in 2019.
To go for the best desired leadership of our time, we need to screen, sort and test the personalities of all the governorship aspirants in the State. This can be done only by taking look very critically, each aspirant’s achievements, goodwill records and public recommendations and then, judge them with our votes. Having painstakingly carefully investigated all the aspirants aspiring for the position of the Governor of Ogun State in 2019, I have the privilege to report to the good people of Ogun State home and abroad that, the only “best remedy to malady” that can happen to Ogun State is no other dignitary than him.
Genius is of no country. But it is surely of a descent of men who reach such an acute unlimited excellence in their prime, that every sterling exploit afterward, savours of unprecedented brilliance. Few men are wrought of such transcendent capacity for genius as Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Chairman of Heyden Group.
To justify my research result, who is this sage, gem and model called Dapo Abiodun? He is a Prince, a Doctor of philosophy and a philanthropist to the core. Adedapo Oluseun Abiodun MFR, born on the 29th of May, 1960 is a man who wears many hats, yet wears them all so well.
As Chief Executive Officer of Heyden Petroleum Limited, arguably one of the fastest growing companies in the mainstream petroleum industry in Nigeria. Dapo is currently the Chairman, Corporate Affairs Commission. Being the Philanthropist that he is, he was the first individual to lend a hand of support financially to the Sagamu, Yoruba/Hausa community after their ethnic clash, as a party advocate, he embarked on noteworthy projects such as awarding of scholarships and sinking boreholes within his Senatorial District. The oil magnate pulsates exceptional intellect and that singular forthrightness that imbues philosophy with logic and sound theory.
According to my research about this man of honour, Prince Dapo Abiodun, in his ascent to the steep slope of entrepreneurial success and acclaim was pockmarked with challenges but he towered above all odds to become a successful magnate with vested interest in oil and gas. Thus, such a gladiator like this man will no doubt be highly successful if given him the chance to govern Ogun State for the next four years.
I have seen him addressing the public through the press. He, (Dr Dapo Abiodun) is highly articulated, vibrant and charismatic to handling the State biggest job. Anytime he speaks, I always feel the high level of enthusiasm to delivering the State from hardship most especially, in the areas such as unemployment, education, health and Civil Servants welfarism. Also, in terms of experience, knowledge, exposure, managerial skills such as human, technical and conceptual, no other aspirant can stand Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun in the administration and implementation of the will of the State.
Before I conclude this preeminence, I would like to challenge anyone who is yet to agree with me that as far as “who becomes the Governor of Ogun State in 2019” is concerned, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun remains the most qualified, competent and independent to handle the job, to go and make his/her different research and or researches for publication.
