Recruitment: FRSC to screen 9,000 candidates in Plateau

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) is to screen a total of 9,000 candidates in Plateau in its ongoing recruitment exercise, according to Mrs. Patricia Emeordi, the state’s sector commander.

Emeordi told our correspondent on Thursday in Jos that applicants resident in the north-central state were being screened, irrespective of their states of origin.

“What we do here is the physical and certificates screening. The FRSC headquarters in Abuja will take up other aspects of the exercise,’’ she said.

Emeordi said that the exercise was “very tasking’’, but commended the candidates for being “very orderly’’.

’The official said that the recruitment, when completed, would boost the mandate of curbing road crashes and make the highways safer for Nigerians.
