2019: APC inaugurates zone 3 campaign

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday, inaugurates campaign and presentation of flags to aspirants in Zone 3 with the call for support from people of the area.

The Kaduna State Chairman of the party, Mr Emmanuel Jakada, said at the Kafanchan Township Stadium, Kaduna state, that APC remained the party ready to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

“This government has lived up to its expectation and is ready to move the nation and the state to the next level of development,” he said.

He advised aspirants in the zone to shun politics of religion and ethnicity and give everyone a sense of belonging so that together, the party would actualise the collective objective of members.

Also in an address, Mrs Hadiza Balarabe, the running mate to Gov, Nasir El-rufa’I, assured continued representation, especially the women folk in governance across all the levels of government.

Balarabe enjoined all and sundry to rally round the APC ahead of the general election as shun selfish sentiments.

Mr Rebecca Barde, the Zonal Woman Leader of Zone 3, in a goodwill message, expressed satisfaction with the representation and involvement of women as aspirants for various positions in the party.

“This paradigm shift is a welcome development that will move the state to its desired height,” she said.

Our correspondent reports that government officials, politicians, party faithful across the eight local governments of the state and 37 wards in the zone attended the occasion.
