Dust hazy weather to prevail over Nigeria on Wednesday

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted dry and dust hazy weather conditions with reduced visibility over most parts of the country and misty morning over the coastal South on Wednesday.

NiMet’s Weather Outlook on Tuesday, in Abuja, predicted dust haze condition with visibility range of two to five kilometres over the Central region throughout the forecast period.

It added that the region would have day and night temperatures in the ranges of 28 to 36 and 12 to 19 degrees Celsius respectively.

The agency predicted that the Northern States would experience dust haze condition throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures of 28 to 36 and 11 to 17 degrees Celsius respectively.

According to NiMet, Southern States will experience dust haze condition with visibility range of two to five kilometres over the inland cities during the forecast period and early morning mist and fog over the coastal cities.

“Later in the day dust haze condition with visibility range of one to three kilometres in the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 26 to 36 and 16 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.

“Dust Haze conditions are expected over the country within the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
