NiMet predicts sunny, hazy conditions for Monday

Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy conditions for Monday.

NiMet’s weather outlook on Sunday in Abuja predicted sunny and hazy conditions over the northern towns to the central region, with slim chances of thunderstorms over the coastal cities.

“For Northern states, sunny and hazy conditions are envisaged over the northern region throughout the forecast period with day and night
temperatures of 34 to 35 degree Celsius and 11 to 20 degree Celcius respectively.

“For Central states, sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the region throughout the forecast period with day and night temperatures of 27 to 37 degree Celsius and 12 to 23 degree Celsius,” it said.

According to NiMet, partly cloudy to sunny conditions are likely over the inland and partly cloudy to cloudy situation over the coast of Southern states.

It forecast thunderstorms over Calabar, Eket, and Port Harcourt axis later in the day with day and night temperatures of 32 to 36 degree Celsius and 20 to 24 degree Celsius respectively.
