Aisha Buhari engages women, children ahead Presidential inauguration

The First Lady, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has commiserated with Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hauwau Bello, at the age of 101.

Mrs Buhari, in a statement made available to newsmen by her Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr Aliyu Abdullahi, in Abuja, expressed her deepest sympathy with the governor and the entire Bello family.

The first lady prayed God to have mercy on the soul of the deceased and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“Hajiya Hauwau Bello lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation. Her doors were always open for all when she was alive,” Mrs Buhari said.

She said that the deceased would be remembered for her love for humanity.
