BREAKING: Abiola Ajimobi, Ex-Oyo governor, is dead

The immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi is dead. Ajimobi, who had been on a life support machine at First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications, is dead.

The former Chief Executive Officer, National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Nigeria, died due to underlying health conditions, which was worsened by COVID-19.

The death of the former governor of Oyo State was disclosed by an undisclosed source.
