The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday congratulated the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri, as he attained the age of 53 years, describing him as an exceptional leader.

The party celebrated Fintiri in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbindiyan in Abuja .

Ologbondiyan said that the PDP was proud of Fintiri for his exceptional leadership and outstanding achievements in developing his state and empowering the people in spite of the daunting challenges.

“Gov. Fintiri has proven to be an excellent administrator with a track record of performance as a lawmaker, former speaker of Adamawa State House of Assembly, former acting governor and now as the governor of the state.

“Adamawa State under Fintiri has experienced unprecedented development in critical sectors in spite of the prevailing economic and social challenges.

“Furthermore, Gov. Fintiri has, in line with the manifesto of our party, the PDP, continued to play critical roles towards the stability, unity and peaceful co-existence, not only in his state but also in our nation, Nigeria, at large.”

Ologbondiyan urged Fintiri not to relent in his selfless service to the state and Nigeria, saying citizens across the nation look unto the PDP and its elected officials for direction, especially at this trying time.

“The PDP congratulates Fintiri and prays God to continue to bless him with good health and more years in fruitful service to our dear nation and and humanity at large,” he said.
