Sen. Akwashiki revalidates APC membership, assures of sound representation

Sen. Godiya Akwashiki (APC-Nasarawa North) on Wednesday revalidated his All Progressives Congress (APC) membership at Polling Unit 001, Angba Iggah, Iggah Brumbrum electoral ward of Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

Akwashiki, while revalidating his APC membership, called for full mobilisation to enable the people of the senatorial district who might wish to join the party to register.

The lawmaker, who is the Senate Committee Chairman on Employment, Labour and Productivity, said that the importance of the revalidation and registration exercise cannot be overemphasised, hence the need for his call.

“I want to call on the people of my senatorial district, the state and Nigerians at large to embrace the ongoing exercise in our great party, APC revalidation and registration in your interest and for the overall development of the country,” he urged.

Akwashiki assured his constituents of his continued commitment to key into good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of the people.

“You are aware of what I have done towards bettering your standard of living.

“I have done my best and still doing my best in the area of education, health, electricity, water, youths and women empowerment among others.

“All of these infrastructure was to better your standard of living and for the overall development of our senatorial district, the state and the country at large,” he said.

Akwashiki also assured of sound and quality representation in order to enable his constituents and Nigerians enjoy more dividends of democracy.

He however solicited for prayers and support from all and sundry for the success of the present administration at all levels.

Besides, he called on Nigerians to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities, live in peace and tolerate one another for development to thrive.
