Nigerian beauty lab goes global, signs deal with Rwandan streaming coy
Popular Nigerian beauty and lifestyle TV Show, COC Beauty Lab, has taken its rave-making event to the global stage, with the signing of a new deal with Rwandan streaming giant, CINETIE.
With the deal, CINETIE, the subscription-based streaming platform, will distribute the first season of the Beauty Lab globally for the next two years.
The partnership is also expected to inspire many people to embrace beauty product formulation as a lifestyle and thriving business, a statement issued in Abuja on Monday, said.
Media partners, Glazia Communications, in the statement, described CINETIE as a leading Pan-African film streaming platform that streams both films and television programmes.
It quoted Ishimwe Theodore, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CINETIE, as expressing his delight at working with Beauty Lab.
“COC Beauty Lab show looks amazing and quite educative, we are glad to have it on our platform, first of its kind,” he said.
The Executive Producer of COC Beauty Lab, Ayo Bassey, also expressed her happiness over how the show had improved the beauty and cosmetics scene in Nigeria.
“It’s exciting to see our work valued and rated highly. It’s every producer’s dream.”
”This partnership has motivated me to do more, to go the extra mile, and to create richer content for the sophomore season” she said.
The first season of the show was hosted by COC Beauty School alumni, Seun Olusina and Violet Adesina, with contents like makeovers, latest trends, fashion finds, tips and tricks.
According to Bassey, Season 2 of COC Beauty Lab will be arriving on viewing platforms across the continent in 2022, promising that the new season would be loaded with more exciting moments and celebrity guests.
