Ladies golf association elects Monyei-Inyere as new president

The Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN) has elected Juliet Monyei-Inyere as its new President, becoming the association’s 15th President.

A statement on Sunday in Abuja by the LGAN Media Office indicated that the election was held at the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Asaba.

Onyebuchi-Inyere, who is a Chief Superintendent in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), was the Lady Captain of Air Assault (now Python) Golf Club from 2005 to 2007.

She was also the Lady Captain of Ibori Golf Club in Asaba from 2015 to 2017 and LGAN’s Zonal Vice-President from 2018 till date.

Monyei-Inyere, who took over from Susan Kotas, will spearhead the affairs of the Association for the next 24 months.
