A 36-year-old unemployed man, Samson Appah, who allegedly stole an iPhone valued at N570,000, on Friday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court.

Appah, whose residential address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.

The prosecutor, Insp Mojirade Edeme, told the court that the defendant committed the offences with one other person still at large, on Oct. 15 at Computer Village, Ikeja.

Edeme said that the defendant stole an iPhone 12 pro max belonging to a shop owner, Mr Olarenwaju Taiwo.
