NYSC in Nasarawa State want organisations to take corps members from orientation camp
NYSC in Nasarawa State on Monday implored organisations to which corps members had been deployed to take the members from the orientation camp in Keffi as they pass out on Tuesday.
The three-week orientation course of the 2021 Batch C Stream II corps members closes on Tuesday.
Mrs Lucie-Ann Laha, spokesperson of the scheme in Nasarawa State said in a statement that the closing ceremony would be low-key and devoid of fanfare so as to observe COVID-19 safety protocols.
She added that the Coordinator of NYSC in Nasarawa State, Mr Abdullahi Jikamshi, would preside over the ceremony and represent Gov. Abdullahi Sule to declare the orientation course closed.
She stated that corps members of the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream II service year, having completed their service year, would pass out on Dec. 16.
“Employers of corps members of this batch are enjoined to release them not later than Dec. 10 to enable them to conclude all disengagement formalities.
“The NYSC in Nasarawa State, wishes the in-coming corps members a hitch-free service year and good luck with future endeavours to the out-going ones,” Laha stated.
