Businessman sues trader for pouring bean water on his premises

A businessman, Abubakar Khalid, on Thursday dragged an akara(bean cake) seller, Amina Maman-Hafsa before a Sharia Court sitting in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State for pouring bean water on his business premises.

Khalid, who resides in Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna, told the court that he has cautioned Maman-Hafsa on many occasions not to pour the smelly water on his premises.

The Judge, Nuhu Falalu, asked whether he has reported Maman-Hafsa to environmental health officials in their Local Government Area.

Falalu asked the complainant to report to the appropriate authorities.
