FCT LG Election: APC chair candidate pledges to improve wellbeing of residents
Alhaji Murtala Karshi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) poll, has pledged to initiate projects that will improve the living standard of the people, if elected.
Karshi made the pledge at the inauguration of his campaign for the FCT Area Council elections slated for Sunday, Feb. 12 in Abuja.
He advised residents of the area to come out en mass on the day of the election and cast their votes for APC for both the Chairmanship and Councillorship positions.
Karshi, who expressed confidence in emerging victorious at the poll, stated that AMAC would witness a positive turnaround under his leadership if given the mandate as the council’s chair.
He called on the party supporters and residents of the area not to entertain any doubts but to vote for APC.
Earlier, the Chairman of APC in AMAC, Alhaji Muktar Abubakar, stated that the party had mapped out necessary strategies towards emerging victorious at the polls.
He implored the party supporters and residents to cast their ballots for the APC.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by some APC leaders in AMAC and FCT, as well as party faithful and traditional rulers, among others.
