Delta Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Ifeanyi Egwunyenga, has advised youths in the state to use the opportunity of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise to obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

Egwuyenga made the call in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the ministry, Mrs Ese Obote-Ugwu, on Friday in Asaba.

Egwuyenga, however, observed that youths are willing to register and pick up their PVCs across the state, but were deterred by network challenges at the point of registration.

He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to proffer solution to the challenges of registration and collection of PVCs.

He said that the ministry would continue to educate the teaming youths on voter education through its social media handles.

Egwunyenga urged aspirants in the upcoming elections and their supporters, especially the youths, to be mindful of their choice of words during campaigns.
