13 ships carrying petrol, others expected at Lagos ports

Maritime workers suspend nationwide strike

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Monday said 13 ships were expected at Lagos port from June 6 to June 14.

The authority said the ships were laden with petroleum products, general cargo, frozen fish, container, bulk sugar, butane gas, bulk gypsum and bulk wheat.

NPA reports that three other ships had arrived the ports and were waiting to berth with petrol.

Also, the organisation said 19 other ships were at the ports discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, frozen fish, container, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, automobile gasoline and petrol.
