Pick up your PVCs at collection centres – Council chairman
Mr Monsuru Akinloye, Chairman, Eredo Local Council Development Area, Epe Division, Lagos State, has urged residents to pick up their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) at collection centres in the region.
Akinloye made the plea in an interview with our reporter in Epe, on Friday.
He said that there are lots of uncollected PVCs at the centres awaiting collection.
Akinloye said that the voter’s card serves as weapons to vote out bad governance and to vote in good governance.
“You can determine who leads the nation and your community through your voter’s card. Vote wisely and vote according to your conscience.
“One man, one vote. Your voter card is the answer to elect responsive and reliable candidates to occupy the leadership positions in our dear country,” he said.
The chairman said “Your voter’s card will make you eligible to vote into power your choice candidates.”
Akinloye also appealed to those who are yet to register for their PVCs to do so before the deadline.
“I and my family have done our registration and we have collected our PVCs, other residents and subordinates need to do so too.
“We have different registration centres across the council area, therefore, residents can visit any of the centres for registration,” he said.
