2023: Commissioner, Majority Leader drum support for Gov. Sule

Alhaji Yusuf Turaki, the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, has called for the re-election of Gov. Abdullahi Sule in 2023.

Making the appeal during a solidarity rally he organised in Awe on Monday, Turaki said that Sule has performed beyond all expectations, thus the need to return him to deliver more dividends of democracy.

“His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule has performed well in almost all sectors of the economy.

“Let’s all support him to succeed beyond 2023,” he urged.

The commissioner assured of his continued readiness to mobilise support for the governor to succeed beyond 2023.

On his part, Alhaji Tanko Tunga, the Majority Leader of the state House of Assembly, who is the Chairman of the occasion, also called on the people of Awe Local Government Area and the state at large to support Sule and other APC candidates in the 2023 general elections.

Tunga (APC- Awe North) said that the governor’s developmental strides would earn him second term in office come 2023.

“And this will enable us, and other people of the state enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he said.

The lawmaker assured of his commitment to go to nook and cranny of Awe to mobilise support for the governor to succeed.

Sule, represented by Alhaji Muhammad Ubandoma, who is the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) appreciated the organisers of the rally and other Awe stakeholders for drumming support for his administration.

Sule said that he would consolidate on his achievements, if voted for a second term in 2023.

The governor reiterated his administration’s commitment to key into good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.
