Aliyu Ilias emerges chairman of Ansar-ud-deen northern youth council

Mr Aliyu Ilias has emerged the Chairman of the Ansar-ud-deen Youth Association of Northern Nigeria Youth Council.

The Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Munir Jadesimi, who made the disclosure in a statement on Monday in Abuja, said that the election was held in Kano at the 2022 Kano conference of the Ansar-ud-deen Youth Association of Nigeria (ADYAN).

Jadesimi said: ”Through Islamic shurah system Aliyu ilias emerged as the chairman to lead the Northern states council for the next three years.

”Alhaji Zakariyau Abidakun chaired the shurah committee and over 500 ADYAN members attended the conference, which featured islamic lectures, prayers, meeting, sport activities, award and youth development programmes.”

He listed the other elected leaders council to include: Hakeem Odebiyi, 1st Vice Chairman, Abbey Adeyemi. 2nd Vice Chairman, Adetola Yunusa, 3rd Vice Chairman and Sanni Taiye, as the Secretary.

Others are: Mudrakat Adebayo, the council’s Ameerah, Soladoye Nafisah, Deputy Ameerah and Mariam Abdulazeez, Secretary to the Ameerah.

The new chairman expressed commitment to run an all-inclusive administration with a view to ensuring the attainment of the noble objectives of council.

”My project for the three years is tagged MashaAllahProject, which includes membership drive and development, investment, students’ support and partnering our parent body to achieve its objectives.”

Earlier, the immediate past chairman, Alhaji Abduljalil Apanpa, who shared his success stories, promised to support the new executives.
