NASENI wins 44th Kaduna International Trade Fair

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) emerged the overall winner of the just concluded 44th Kaduna International Trade Fair.
The award was presented to the agency by the merit award sub committee of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Mines , Industry and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) on Sunday during the closing of the trade fair.
NASENI also gained recognition as the best exhibitor of innovation and technology.
The chairman of the merit award sub committee, Hajiya Hadiza Mailafiya, stated that the awardees were selected after careful assessment of their performance at the fair.
Represented by Mr Joseph Ukwenya, the chairman stated that criteria such as special days, planning and organizations, innovation and technology as well as quality of products were considered for the award.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Hadiza Balarabe who was represented by the state Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Baba, commended KADCCIMA and all the participating exhibitors.
She stated that the 44th Trade Fair was unique in spite of the economic challenges, appreciating the consistency of KADCCIMA and exhibitors, both local and international.

The deputy governor called on investors to invest in the state, saying that doors were open and the government would provide all necessary support to boost the economy of the state.

Our correspondent reports that Dangote Group emerged second while the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) clinched third position.
The trade fair began on Feb. 3, with the theme: “Promoting value addition for sustainable growth and development.”
