Nigerian rapper, Illbliss tasks incoming government on security, job creation
Nigerian rapper, Tobechukwu Ejiofor, popularly known as “Illbliss”, has stressed the need for the incoming government to focus its resources to address insecurity and create more job opportunities for Nigerians.
Ejiofor gave the advice in an interview with our reporter on Saturday at Moba/Maroko Polling Unit in Ajah area, Lagos.
According to him, the economic crisis Nigerians have been hit with ranging from fuel crisis, cash crunch, insecurity and a host of others were enough reasons to come out in large numbers to vote.
“The next guys coming in to run this country have a herculean task ahead of them but I trust that once we can start to secure the people and quell all of these violence and outrage across the country, then we can begin to feel safe to do our businesses.
“The economy has been in a bad shape and I don’t think there’s nothing we have not been hit with in the last couple of years such as fuel crisis even though we are the fifth largest exporters of fuel globally,” he said.
He urged voters to discharge their civic responsibilities responsibly and peacefully while guarding against electoral malpractices.
“You must ensure that your constituency is secure. You don’t just cast your votes and leave because a lot could happen after then, but we have to make sure that everything happens in peace,” he said.
