FRSC to consider Reps’ resolution on recruitment age limit – Spokesman

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Command, says no fewer than 1,222 personnel will be deployed across the state for the Eid-el-fitr celebrations.

The Osun Sector Commander, Mr Henry Benamesia, disclosed this in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, to newsmen in Osogbo on Friday.

Benamesia said that the state officers and marshals had been deployed to some flash points in the state to help control traffic and also clear any obstructions.

He said that officers from the command would be visible throughout the festive period due to heavy vehicular movements.

“Our men shall be on ground physically at some flash points from now till when the festive period ends in order to ensure safety of lives and properties.

“We shall continue our enlightenment campaigns in order to sensitise road users on the need to drive safe during and after the celebrations,” Benamesia said.
