According to the statement, Uduak Inyang-Udoh, Acting Rector of YABATECH, lauded the gesture to the college, describing it as unique and something worthy of emulation.
Iyang-Udo said that the college considered itself lucky to be in partnership with Lotus Bank, a partnership he described as mutually beneficial to both organisations.
Adisa, one of the recipients of the cash donation, according to the statement, expressed his sincere appreciation to the bank.
He said that the greatest reward one could receive was the satisfaction of a job well done.
“I am inspired to continue learning, growing and hope to make a positive impact in my chosen field.
“The money given to me will be used for a valuable and productive venture,” the statement quoted Adisa saying.
It said that the presentation was witnessed by principal officers, Deans of Schools, Dean of Student Affairs, representatives of the students union, and parents of recipients.
