A Public Affairs Analyst and Lecturer at Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti, Oyewale Oyelola on Thursday stated that Hon Adewale Egbedun possesses academic credentials and political experience to lead the 8th Osun State House of Assembly.

Oyelola, disclosed this while speaking with reporters in Ilesa during a live program.

He mentioned that the consensus among the Members-elect tilt towards emergence of Hon Adewale Egbedun from Odo-otin State Constituency in Osun Central Senatorial district.

The Public Affairs Analyst stressed that Prince Adewale Egbedun had his education in Nigeria and United Kingdom. “He is an Entrepreneur and a passionate driver of fast-growing Agribusiness providing employment for Nigerians. The man is young, useful, and adding value to good governance.” He added.

In his word, “You know Governor Ademola Adeleke is from Osun West while the Deputy hails from Ile-Ife in Osun East. It’s therefore natural to pick the Speaker from Osun Central Senatorial district. Hon Adewale Egbedun is enjoying massive support among the majority of members-elect.

“He is a committed, dedicated and loyal party man. I believe his emergence would be a win-win deal for ALL”.

The Media Executive said Egbedun has been consistent in supporting the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) agenda to rescue Osun State from 2017, noting that he is will a rally point when elected as Speaker.

Oyelola added that Governor Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke’s administration needs Assembly leadership that understands and shares the vision of accelerating the state’s development.

He, therefore, urged the Members-elect to support Hon Egbedun during their inauguration slated for June 6, 2023.
