No Unilorin student died during CBT exams – management

The Registrar of the University of Ilorin, Mr Mansur Alfanla, on Wednesday commended the university’s command of the Man O’ War for its selfless services.

The registrar expressed his willingness to work with the command to achieve its goals.

Alfanla spoke while receiving a delegation of the Man O’ War, led by its Commander-In-Chief, Roqeeb Olaniran, who visited him in his office.

The registrar recognised the significant role of members of the command in creating a positive impact within the university and the society as a whole.

He advised the command to continue to exercise civility when addressing disciplinary issues and encouraged members to prioritise their academic pursuit, which he said is the only endeavour that validates their membership.

On the requests made, the registrar advised the command to keep liaising with the Dean of Student Affairs for smooth facilitation with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, (SAN).

Earlier, Olaniran appealed for the university management’s assistance in fulfilling the aspirations of the command.

Some of the aspirations, he said included enabling the command’s members to attend training schools, acquiring essential training gadgets, uniforms and renovating their base to improve functionality.

He also congratulated the registrar on his appointment and pledged to continue to work with the university to make the campus a safer and more secure place for all.

In his own remarks, Habeeb Olosasa, the Command’s Director-General of Protocol, expressed gratitude and recognition for the invaluable contributions of the command.

Our correspondent reports that the Man O’ War Nigeria University of Ilorin Command is a uniformed volunteer organisation that is committed to promoting discipline, leadership, and community service.
