Children blockbuster film ‘Mikolo’ sets for cinema

Family and children blockbuster movies ‘Mikolo’ is set for cinema nationwide on Aug. 18, an announcement made by filmmaker and producer of the film, Niyi Akinmolayan.

Akinmolayan took to his Instagram page to make the announcement on the release date for his upcoming kids-centred live-action film titled ‘Mikolo’.

He said keeping to his promise of releasing family and children blockbuster film made him a fulfilled person and a great achiever.

“I promised myself I will not let 2023 July/August school holiday be void of a big family and children blockbuster film.

“Have to stop saying this thing and just do it.

“How can we have two months free and kids have nothing from Nollywood to watch?

“Time to put the anthill story team to work. I said it in 2022 and I did it. Now we must all go #Mikolo in cinema Aug.18,” he wrote.

The blockbuster film “Mikolo” is produced by Akinmolayan, and featured notable Nollywood stars like Etim Effiong and Yvonne Jegede.

Others are talented young actors like Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga and Oluwapamilerinayo, who played major roles in the movie.
