Tuchel confirms Bayern working ‘intensely’ on Kane signing
Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that the Bundesliga champions are aiming to finalise the signing of England captain, Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
“We are working on it intensely, that much I can confirm. As of right now, no agreement has been reached.
“It is a process, Tuchel told reporters on the eve of Saturday’s German Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.
Kane is said to have agreed to join Bayern and has been given permission by Spurs to fly to Germany for the medical.
It could also go along with the signing of a four-year contract before the end of Friday.
Bayern and Spurs reportedly reached agreement on a transfer fee of around €115 million ($126 million), plus add-ons, the previous day.
Kane is Bayern’s top transfer target as the Bundesliga want a top striker after last season’s squad could not make up for the departure of Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona 12 months ago.
