Sen. Adamu to constituents: Expect more dividends of democracy
Sen. Lawal Adamu (PDP-Kaduna Central) has told his constituents to expect more dividends of democracy from his representation.
It was reported that Adamu stated this in Kaduna on Thursday while congratulating the Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Eid-el-Maulud celebration.
He said: “I want to express my continued gratitude to you for the tremendous support I have been enjoying from you and to congratulate our teeming Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.
“This is certainly a time to reflect on our lives and how we have been living with our neighbors and other people we relate with to see if we have been doing so according to the teachings of our noble Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
“We should always be the first to judge ourselves and our actions as that will be the best way to live a pious life.
“As your representative in the Senate, I want to assure you that I shall continue to do my best in bringing to you the desired dividends of democracy.
“I will most especially concentrate in the areas of education, health, social welfare, roads and security so that there will be peace in all our communities.”
According to Adamu, Nigerians must strive to always be one another’s keeper, support the leaders and alert the law enforcement agents on any suspicious or destabilizing movement in their midst.
