TVC Communications has unveiled a new chat show titled ‘YourView Pigin’, to connect with Nigerians who feel partly disconnected from conversations around social and topical issues.

The Managing Director, TVCe, the entertainment arm of TVC Communications, Mrs Morayo Afolabi-Brown, said this at the launch of the show on Thursday in Lagos.

Afolabi-Brown explained that the live show would run every Saturday from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and would focus on lifestyle, relationships, celebrity gossip, women empowerment and lots more.

The managing director said the new show would ride on the back of the hugely successful morning chat show, ‘YourView’, hosted by her and her co-hosts in the last 10 years.

She said: “Pidgin is a language of the masses and one of the best ways to connect people is through the language that is relatable.

“The show will also feature amazing guests and entertaining segments with audience engagement.

“The hosts of the show are; Uvbi Sarah Balogun, an astute radio and television personality, journalist, PR Strategist and Brand Consultant.

“Chika Okeke, a seasoned broadcaster, PR/Brand Specialist; and a Real Estate Broker, Abigail Gogo-Ogute, an astute Broadcaster with extensive experience on radio and television.

“Moyosore Farawe Ahmed, an astute broadcaster with years of experience on radio and television, and Damilola Banire, a broadcaster with years of experience on radio and television, a public speaker, and a writer.

“These hosts of ‘YourView Pidgin’ will bring a wealth of experience in broadcasting, coupled with their unique experiences and knowledge to bare on the show. This will give the audience the quality entertainment they deserve.

Speaking, Balogun, the host of the new show, said she was extremely excited and looking forward to working closely with the entire team and her new co-hosts.

“Get ready Nigeria, your Saturday morning go hot ooo.”
