PDP chieftain hails Okowa’s contributions to Nigeria polity
Elder Emmanuel Ogidi, has commended the contributions of the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa to the development of Nigeria and its political space.
Ogidi, a former National Vice Chairman, South South of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja, congratulated Okowa on his 65th birthday.
He described him as a great leader, a true gentleman, and a worthy son of Delta State.
The elder statesman also commended Okowa’s service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to making Delta State and Nigeria better, which he demonstrated at various capacities serving the country.
“As a former governor of Delta State, you left an indelible mark on the state with your landmark achievements in different sectors, such as youth empowerment, job creation, education, and healthcare.
“Okowa’s selfless service to the people of Delta was indeed admirable.
“His influence in the Nigerian political space has been felt over the years.
“Okowa’s immense contributions to our great party has helped to shape and strengthen its impact on our national polity,” he said.
Ogidi prayed God should bless Okowa with good health and long life to continue his contribution to the development of the nation.
