The Love of Christ Generation Church, Cherubim and Seraphim says no fewer than one million worshippers are expected to attend its upcoming conference tagged: “Celebrate the Comforter.”

Founder of the church, Rev. Mother Esther Ajayi, disclosed this at a news conference to announce this year’s annual conference scheduled to begin on July 20 in Abuja.

According to her, the event is organised in collaboration with Celestial Church of Christ.

It was reported that the event, billed for the main bowl of Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja, aims to unite Nigerians in prayer for the nation’s leaders, security and economic turnaround.

Ajayi said the convention was also an avenue to show the world that white garment churches were not fetish but staunch believers of Jesus Christ.

She said that effort to unite the two churches was yielding positive result already.

The prophetess said religious leaders and prominent citizens from all the continents of the world would join Nigerians to celebrate Jesus Christ at the convention.

She expressed worries on persistent sabotage of government initiatives by certain individuals while emphasising the importance of the public’s role in supporting positive government efforts.

Ajayi urged Nigerians to remain patient.

“If we can just be ready to be patient, I can see us overcoming these challenges soon.”

She said there was need for a collective effort in improving Nigeria’s socio-economic conditions and encouraged the faithful to maintain a positive outlook and speak well of the country.

Ajayi shared her personal experiences and spiritual journey from Lagos to Abuja, expressing her determination to spread a message of hope and faith.

“We have come to Abuja to spread the message. We must be selfless and work together for the greater good.”

Highlighting global economic challenges, Ajayi pointed out that the rising cost of living was not unique to Nigeria but a worldwide issue.

She urged the media to play a crucial role in communicating accurate information and fostering a positive narrative.

“We need to look at the situation that is going on globally.

“This is not just a Nigerian issue; it is affecting everyone.”

According to her, the focus of ‘Celebrate the Comforter Abuja 2024’ is on celebrating Jesus Christ and His power to bring comfort and change.

“We are going to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his family, for Nigeria, and most importantly, we are going to win loads of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ,” she said.

She cited Jeremiah 29:11 from the Bible as a source of hope for the nation’s future.

Ajayi assured that through faith and collective effort, Nigeria could achieve greatness and overcome its current challenges.
