Sule appoints new D-G, Nasarawa Bureau of Public Procurement

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has appointed Alh. Umar Mohammed as Director-General, Nasarawa State Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

Mr Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the State Assembly announced this while reading the governor’s nomination sent to the House for confirmation during plenary on Tuesday in Lafia.

The speaker extolled Mohammed’s capacity according to the governor’s letter as a tested procurement expert, who served in the Bureau with proven experience and commitment to the progress of the state.

Jatau, therefore, directed the Clerk of the House to communicate the nominee to submit 30 copies of his Curriculum Vitae ( CV) and appear before the Assembly on Sept. 2, for screening and possible confirmation.
