“I want to appreciate you for this visit and inform you that our governor is doing his best to place our state on the path of sustainable growth.

“Completed and ongoing projects are scattered all over the state; these projects are particularly targeted at promoting meaningful development across communities.

“Through his friendly policies, the governor has attracted many investors to the state; I believe that he will leave the state better than he met it,” the speaker said.

Jatau who urged the commission to adhere to the principles of federal character in its appointments, recruitment and programmes, called for collaboration with its counterpart in the state.

Responding, leader of the delegation, Mr Aliyu Auwalu, said that the visit had afforded them the opportunity to understudy the House of Assembly Service Commission in the state, particularly in the area of legislative procedures.
