We promise more satisfactory service delivery — FRSC tells customers

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reiterated it’s commitment to ensure satisfactory service delivery to all it’s customers across the country.

The FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Muhammed made the promise in his letter of appreciation delivered at the 2024 customers service week celebration on Tuesday in Akure.

The letter read by Dr Samuel Ibitoye, FRSC, Ondo State Sector Commander, was in commemoration of the 37th year customers service week with the theme: “Above and Beyond”.

Muhammed said that the customers support and tireless efforts given in promoting road safety awareness had made significant impact on the FRSC mission to save lives and prevent road traffic crashes.

According to him, customers demand in the light of evolving technological trends are requiring greater corporate efficiency, productivity and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

“We are committed to ensuring quality service delivery to our customers, the Federal Government, state governments, FRSC staff, road users, transport unions, transport companies, service providers and the Nigerian populace.

“Because effective customer service is a vital tool to build goodwill in any business, it is the cornerstone of customer satisfaction and loyalty, and it plays a crucial role in creating a positive broad image.

“When customers have a positive experience with any organisation’s customer service representative, they are more likely to feel valued and appreciated, this will in turn foster a sense of goodwill and loyalty towards the service.

“So, we promise continuous commitment to improving service delivery through reigning and repositioning of operational strategies, regular staff promotion and upgrading of outpost to new unit commands.

“Also, clearing of backlog on driver licence production, partnership with the relevant stakeholders among others are many more for the effective service delivery for customers satisfaction,” he said.

He, therefore, said that the corps’ exemplary customers service over the years was as result of continuous government interventions and investment in the corps.

The event’s highlights include the presentation of letters of appreciation to some stakeholders, while some deserving staff were given letters of commendations by the Ondo State FRSC Sector Command.
