Pastor Lazarus Muoka, General Overseer, Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement (a.k.a Chosen), on Thursday said that 2025 would be a year of divine turnaround for Nigeria, urging the citizens to have hope.

Muoka spoke at the opening of a four-day annual international revival of the church at Mgbidi, Imo.

It was reported that the event is tagged “Mgbidi 2025 and has the theme: “What God Has Determined Shall Be Done”.

The cleric expressed the hope that the revival would mark the beginning of restoration of Nigeria and its people from adversity and other challenges.

It was reported that the event, which is taking place at the Chosen Revival Ground, Mgbidi, will end on Sunday with a thanksgiving service.

It attracted members and non-members of the church within and outside Nigeria.

The annual revival was last held at Mgbidi in 2021 due to insecurity.

The 2024 edition of the revival was held in Lagos.

Muoka prayed that Nigeria should be more fruitful and be free socio-economic problems.

“This year is a year of jubilee, it is a year that this land will not know any setback.

“This revival is to position the land and the people for greatness, restoration and dominion.

“Our Lord Jesus Christ is on the case of this land to replace crisis with abundance of goodies.

“God is looking for people to serve Him for uncommon rewards from Him. Make your self available for God to use,” he said.

It was reported that the revival featured praise and worship, testimonies and prayer sessions.
