Idris confirms substantive appointment of 17 heads of MDAs

Gov. Nasir Idris of Kebbi, has approved the confirmation of 17 Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) serving in acting capacity to substantive positions in the state.

The confirmation is contained in a circular from the office of the State Head of Service, signed by Rashid Muhammad-Bala, issued to newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday.

He said: “One Permanent Secretary, 10 General Managers, seven Executive Secretaries, and an Executive Director, have been confirmed by Gov. Idris as substantive heads of their various MDAs.”

Muhammad-Bala said those confirmed included; A’ishatu Abbas, Permanent Secretary State

Ministry of Justice, Zaiyanu Shehu, General Manager, Water Board, Atiku Malami, General Manager, Rural Electrification Board and Muhammad Nadim-Abdullahi, General Manager of Kebbi Housing Corporation.

“Others are; Adamu Shehu, General Manager, Rural Water and Sanitation Agency (RUWATSA), Basiru Saidu-Bakuwai, General Manager, Kebbi Geographical Information System (KEBGIS) and Aminu Umar, General Manager, Kebbi Urban Development Authority (KUDA).

“Additionally, Aliyu Umar-Dikko, General Manager, Kebbi State Environmental Protection Agency, (KESEPA), Aminu Sani-Kamba, General Manager, Kebbi State Television Service and Hussaini Shamaki, General Manager, Kebbi Agricultural Supply Company, (KASCO), among others,” Muhammad-Bala said.
