Nollywood film “Something about the Briggs” hits cinema Jan. 31

Star-studded Nollyood comedy-drama “Something about the Briggs, is set for premiere in cinemas on January 31, its producers have said.

It was reported that Bukola Ogunsola, director and producer of the film, has released the trailer of the blockbuster on her Instagram page.

The highly anticipated film from Revelation Pictures,features Nollyood veterans Bukky Wright, Rita Dominic, Gloria Anozie-Young, and is distributed by Film One.

Other cast include, Kalu Ikeagwu, Elma Mbadiwe, Iyabo Ojo, Stan Nze, Kanaga Jnr, Daniel Effiong, and Kenneth Okoli, among others.

The plot of “Something about the Briggs” explores the complexities of wealth, fame and marriage with humour and insight, blending laughter with emotional moments, while addressing real social issues.

The storyline reflects struggles and joys couples faced, offering lessons on love, commitment, and navigating life together.
