Ramadan: Tambuwal supports 30,000 households with foodstuffs in Sokoto

Sen. Aminu Tambuwal (PDP-Sokoto South) on Monday, distributed foodstuffs to no fewer than 30,000 households across Sokoto State as part of his Ramadan palliatives.
Tambuwal, the immediate past Governor of the state and the Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, said the initiative reflected his party’s unwavering commitment to supporting citizens during the current economic hardship.
“This initiative underscores our party’s dedication to unity, compassion and community support during the holy month of Ramadan,” he said.
The lawmaker expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah for the blessing of witnessing another Ramadan and the privilege of observing the sacred period.
Tambuwal commended the unwavering dedication of the PDP leadership in Sokoto, recognising their efforts in organising, mobilising and strengthening the party.
He also emphasised the importance of reflection, generousity and fervent prayers for continued health and prosperity.
Reaffirming the party’s unity and resilience, the senator expressed determination to reclaim their mandate in future elections.
“By Allah’s grace, through strategic efforts and unwavering commitment, justice shall be restored,” he declared.
Tambuwal lauded PDP lawmakers in the Sokoto State House of Assembly and the House of Representatives for their dedication to serving their constituents.
He praised their consistent engagements and leadership, which, according to him, reflected their commitment to public service.
Additionally, he acknowledged the younger generation within the party for initiating a groundbreaking empowerment programmes for the members and youths, describing the development as the first of its kind in the state.
Tambuwsl prayed for blessings upon all those contributing to the noble cause just as he sought divine guidance in fostering unity and service.
